What I look for in anime: Any anime must be well balanced and cannot excel in just one category. An anime with a great soundtrack and great animation but little thought given to the story does not work. However, the most important thing of all is the characters. They must be interesting. If the main character is not someone I can relate to, look up to or just enjoy his/her presence, then it is difficult to find enjoyment in what I am watching.
